Images Buckinghamshire, a family-run business new to the area (but very well known throughout Yorkshire, Lincolnshire and Worcestershire). Images is an Art awareness and fund-raising service which runs Art Exhibitions in schools using the children's artwork to create an art gallery where parents, family and friends may come to view and purchase artwork. Our Exhibitions offer schools the opportunity to hold an event which both raises funds for schools and is also an enjoyable and rewarding experience for pupils, staff, parents, family and friends
Images are committed to helping schools throughout the United Kingdom to raise money for much- needed resources and activities. We are not selling anything to your school and no financial outlay is required. Furthermore, this event involves little if no work on your behalf. Almost too good to be true- but it is!

 
HERE IS HOW IT WORKS:

1. The canvases ( one each for each child in the school plus a few extra for the inevitable mistakes and over-enthusiasm) will be delivered to your school, allowing plenty of time for the preparation of the children's artwork (existing artwork may be glued to the canvases). See Teachers Notes for Information

2. Approximately two weeks (or earlier if needed) before the date of the Exhibition we will collect the completed artwork to allow time for cataloguing, mounting, framing and glazing.

3. On the day of the event Images will set up the Exhibition in your school hall, at the agreed time (usually this will allow time for classes to view the Gallery before opening the event to parents, family and friends).

4. We provide a master catalogue of the pictures in the Exhibition but would ask to use your photocopier and paper to produce a number of catalogues for visitors to the Gallery.

5. During the Exhibition picture are offered for sale to parents ( Although we ask for the pictures not to be removed from the exhibition)

6. After the event, we will dismantle the exhibition leaving the school with the framed pictures, Boxed in numerical order, for sale to parents who were unable to attend the event. ( Usually 1-2 weeks )
   After this period, we return to collect all unsold artwork and frames ( we recycle the frames and return original artwork to yourselves if you so wish ) and to settle the account.

Details such as to the timing of the Exhibition and the pricing to be charged for the pictures, can be finalised when we return to pick-up the completed artwork, if already not agreed. Pricing strategy preferably will be discussed at our first meeting when we drop the blank canvasses to you. Suffice it say we are happy to discuss this over the telephone or by meeting with you. This is because of regional variations and the school is more aware of the parent's support ability. A typical retail price would be £6 for a 14 x 11 mounted, framed and safety glazed picture of the child's artwork. I think this presents great value for money.
The Primary element is that there is neither overhead nor investment required by the school nor has it any commitment to sell a minimum number of pictures. The only cost to the school is it's normal art consumable.
